Billy Richard Short, 75, a lifelong resident of De Leon, passed away March 27, 2020.
He was born November 17, 1944, in Comanche County to Cecil and Edith Cline Short.
Bill graduated from De Leon High School Class of 1963. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served from 1964 until 1967. Billy retired from selling cars after many years. He enjoyed several hobbies including visiting with friends often and playing online poker.
He is survived by his brother, Archie Short of Madrid, Spain; cousins, Jan Jones of Dublin and Lance Jones of De Leon; and other extended family and close friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Pat Short.
Bill was a Christian and loved he Lord.
