Andy Lee Maggard, 60, of Hot Springs would like everyone to know he is “fine and dandy like chocolate Andy,” because he is perfect now and with the Lord.
Andy was greeted in Heaven by his dad and his beloved son, both of whom were named Donald Lee Maggard. Two of his brothers, Daniel Lee Maggard and Timmy Lee Maggard, were also there to meet him.
Andy was known for his humor and generosity. He enjoyed being outside - whether he claimed to be "hunting" or said he was "fishing"- his family knew "tromping" around in the woods was where he preferred to be.
Andy was loved dearly by his wife of over 40 years, Carol Ann Maggard, who cannot imagine a world without him in it.
He will be remembered by his daughter, Julie (Sergio) Trejo; grandsons Brandon Martinez and Matthew Austin; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Maggard; his sisters Donna Boothe, Jeanette (Clarence) Smith, and Diane (Boyce) Dulaney; his brothers Tommy (Francis) Maggard, Randy Maggard; Robert (Angie) Maggard, and Bill (Melissa) Ward; and a host of nieces, nephews,as well as, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Memorial Service is planned for 2 pm Saturday, June 20 at Gross Funeral Home.
