Thomas Eugene Yates, 67 of Alicia passed away March 27, 2020 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

Born July 5, 1952 in Jackson, MS; son of the late Shelby and Elsie Cook Yates. After 27 years of being together, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Krantz on March 18, 2011. Thomas loved the outdoors, going fishing, playing the guitar, collecting keychains and knives. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Carlton Yates and Alvin Marshall.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Yates of the home; one son, Tony Yates of Alicia; three daughters, Jackie Palmer of Lake City, Samantha (James) Brock of Alicia, and Bridgett (Josh) Lewis of Walnut Ridge; ten grandchildren, Carolyn, Landon, Michelle, Conner, Bradley, Haley, Adam, Jaxon, Gabe and Brinley; four great grandchildren, Prophet, Lila, Chevelle, and Atticus; three sisters, Gail Arnold of Jane, MO, Helen Hollis and Lucille (Russell) Adams both of Rogers; two brothers, Johnny (Donna) Yates of Cord and Roy (Brenda) Yates of Bentonville; and many other relatives and friends,

Graveside Service will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia with Sis. Johnnie Ruth Owens officiating. Pallbearers will be James Brock, Roscoe Winemiller, Josh Owens, Brian Krantz, Tony Yates, and Landon Brock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Conner Brock, Adrian Ramierz, Robert Krantz, and Brian Krantz Jr.

Viewing will be from 1 P.M. till 2 P.M. at the cemetery. (Caution is to be used at this time, we request you follow suggested spacing 6 feet apart and lack of contact among visitors)
