Karen H. Thomas, age 79 of Crivitz, WI passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Aurora Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette, WI. Karen Hope was born in a little house on F.J. Street in Crivitz, WI on May 4, 1940. She was the third of John and Eleanor (Keshen) Wojtkiewicz's four children.

Her childhood in the 40's and 50's was during the years she always said were the best time to grow up. Karen graduated from Crivitz High School in 1958.

She married Joseph Tomaszewski (Thomas) on September 27th, 1958.
Together they raised their three children, who she always said were the most important things to her. As years went by their family gained a son-in-law, daughters-in-law and three grandchildren.

Karen worked in various retail settings through the years. She was especially gifted at putting together wonderful vignettes and eye-catching displays, and was always very interested in home décor and fashion.
In later years she enjoyed her flower gardens, telling stories about Crivitz in the old days, trips to the Casino, and going out for lunch with the girls. She was also an avid reader and one of the Crivitz Library's biggest fans.

She is survived by her sons: Michael (Elizabeth) and Edward (Sandy Philipps) Thomas;
daughter Heidi (Gary) Kroll;
and 3 grandchildren;
her brother Roger (Mary) Wojtkiewicz
and sister Gretchen (Jack) Keiler.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe; her parents and her brother Gene Wyman.

Due to the Corona Virus the services will be held at a later date.
