Ernest Roy Clark, 79, of Brady Lake, passed away on March 23, 2020.
Ernest was born in Jacksonburg, West Virginia to parents Austin and Jessie (Kendall) Clark on November 28, 1940. Ernest was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a machinist and retired from GED Integrated Solutions in Twinsburg. He was a member and former Deacon of the Ravenna Church of Christ where he was very active and enjoyed volunteering with the food pantry. Ernest maintained property in West Virginia and loved going and hanging out there with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen (Carroll) Clark and his children: John Clark, Eric Clark and Lisa (Abrorbek) Gafurbekov. He will be sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren: Andrew, Hannah & Michael Clark, Robert & Nathaniel Carroll and Mikaela, Aziza & Bek Gafurbekov. Surviving also is his sister Ethel Nemeth and many loving nieces and nephews.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clarence Ray Clark and his brother-in-law Richard Nemeth.

No services are scheduled and private family burial has taken place at Standing Rock Cemetery. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Ernest’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Kent Fire Department for their kindness and care.
