Shannon Morning Sun Taylor, born September 11, 1976 in Everett, WA, went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2011.
She was preceded in death by great-grandmothers, Madeline McPeak, Alice Babcock, Ruth Gobin, and Bertha Krise; great-grandfathers, Samuel Babcock, Joseph Gobin, and Dallas Taylor Sr.; grandfather, Clifford Davis; and nephew, Dallas Kane Taylor.
Shannon leaves behind her children whom she loved more than anything in this world, Cailee and Austen Taylor; and her special children, Christian, Derrick, and Bradley; grandparents, Joan and Ron Rochon and George and Betty Taylor; parents, Kateri Mottaz and Gus and Janet Taylor; and siblings, Scott and Anita Taylor, Erin Shelton, Montoya and Quinn King, Shane and Holly Taylor and Vanessa Taylor. Shannon also leaves behind her special nieces and nephews, Kirsty, Morgan, Brooke, Brittany, Daylin, Adriana, Blaize, Madison, Makia, Kavan, Keegan and Colt. Also, many special cousins, too many to name.
Shannon touched many in her short time on earth. She never placed judgment on others and loved everyone for who they were. Shannon was more of a second mother than Auntie to all of her nieces and nephews. She would always drop everything to help others in their time of need.
She will be greatly missed by both her family and friends, but is in a better place now and is no longer in pain.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 23, 2011 from noon until 2 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Avenue, Marysville, WA 98270.
Rosary Services will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 7213 Totem Beach Road, Tulalip, WA 98271.
Interfaith services will be at her grandparents home Monday, May 23, 2011 at 6 p.m. at the address of 7118 14th Avenue, Tulalip, WA 98271.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 10 a.m. at The Tulalip Tribal Center, 6700 Totem Beach Road, Tulalip, WA 98271.
Arrangements are entrusted to Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville, WA.
