GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Moses M. Robinson, 100, of 10969 Burkett Road, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at Penn Hall, Chambersburg, Pa.

Born May 16, 1902, in Gainsville, Va., he was the son of the late George and Elmira Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy P. Pace Robinson, in 1983. They were married in 1945.

He attended school in Virginia.

During World War II, he worked at the Naval Gun Foundry. Following the war, he was employed by the Naval Ordnance Laboratory in Silver Spring, Md., from 1952 until retiring in 1964. After moving to the Greencastle area, he made baskets and caning chairs until 1996.

He was a member of Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church near Upton, Pa., where he was a member of the Senior Sunday School Class.

He is survived by two sons, Richard O. Robinson of Frederick, Md., and Michael M. Robinson of Lititz, Pa.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 12 sisters and brothers.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, Greencastle. The Revs. Dennis L. Ritchey and Curtis E. Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
