Married Charles "Charlie" Bowers, 16 Aug 1919, Carter County TN, had four children, Eugene Ernest Bowers, Pauline Bowers, Irene Bowers, and Burl Bowers. Charlie died 12 Mar 1939 in Carter County.
Married Liga Noah Richardson, 24 Oct 1940, Johnson County TN. They had no children.

Obituary:
Mrs. Gracie Richardson, 63, Rt. 5, died at her home yesterday morning following an illness of one year.
Mrs. Richardson was a native of Carter County and a member of the Holly Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Liga Richardson; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Stout, Rt. 5, and Mrs. Irene Bowers, of the home; two sons, Eugene Bowers, Rt. 5, and Beryl Bowers, Rt. 1, Watauga; one brother, Willie Williams, Rt. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Myers, Rt. 2, and Mrs. Minnie Stout, Elizabethton; and four grandchildren.
Tetrick is in charge of arrangements.
...Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie Williams, age 63, of Route 5, Elizabethton, who died Monday morning, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Holly Springs Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. A. B. Johnson, the D. C. Byrd, and the Rev. Darrell Dugger will officiate. Music by the Hardin Brothers Quartet. Burial in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery...
