Beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother and treasured sister, Glenda Irene (Turner) Martin, age 59, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Glenda was born on November 11, 1960 in Augusta, Georgia to Randall Turner and Doris (McCaskill) Turner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Doris Turner and her brother, Don Turner. Glenda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald “Dooley” Martin; son, Ronald “Teelee” Martin, Jr. and his wife, Juanita Martin; daughter, Jenifer Martin; grandchildren, Thomas Erin Ray Daugherty, Trent Hornaday, Lilyann Martin and Melody Martin; brother, Carl Turner; sister, Barbara Barnett and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Glenda loved the Lord, all children and her family. She was well-loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Graveside Service will be held for Glenda on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Restland Cemetery in Waskom at 5:30pm. A visitation will follow the service.
