Cedric John Walker, a master carpenter, died Monday of a stroke at Charity Hospital. He was 49. Mr. Walker was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Cedric J. Adams; a daughter, Heather A. Adams; his mother, Imelda Lange Walker; two brothers, Neal V. and Alvin P. Walker; three sisters, Susan W. Gauff of Las Vegas, Patrice W. Frederick and Tammy W. White; and two grandchildren. A Mass will be said Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1835 St. Roch Ave. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and the rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3. Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
