Judy E. Blankenship, 56, of Princeton passed peacefully Thursday, March 26, 2020 in Charleston. Born October 7, 1963, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline Skeens Blankenship. She was a long-time employee of Acme’s where she was a cashier and manager of the Dairy Department. She was well known in the Hardy community. Judy was known as the “firecracker” of the family and the youngest of 15 children. Judy spread much love and joy in our community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. Judy is survived by her soulmate Kenny Farley; Her only child, her daughter Misty Parks and husband Jessie of Princeton; Grandkids includes Michelle Barton and husband Jacob, Ethan and Haven Blankenship, Dakota Parks and wife Atlantis and Cheyenne Parks all of Princeton; Great-grandchildren, Reagan Barton of Princeton and Rylee Wright; Seven brothers and sisters, Jerry and Carolyn Blankenship, Roger and Molly Blankenship, Teddy Blankenship, Janice Lambert, Sandra Long and Ray Dickerson, Joyce and Larry White all of Princeton, Karen (Lynn) Hutchinson and Everett of Lerona; Several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Fly High Beautiful, “May the Circle be Unbroken”. Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the Brown Cemetery, on the Peggy Branch Road (Hardy Community) near Princeton with Pastor Erma Jean Hudgins officiating.
