Daniel J. “Buck” Yoder, 65, of Shreve, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, Feb. 2019 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a very brief illness.

Buck was born Sept. 28, 1953 in Millersburg to Galen and Mary Millicent (VanDuzer) Yoder and was his Mother’s favorite child. He graduated from Waynedale High School in 1972 and retired from Timken –Wooster Steel Plant. He was a member of the Holmesville Church of Christ and was always willing to lend a hand and he cared for all. Buck rode his bike on the Holmes County Bike Trail making the trip form Holmesville to Killbuck daily and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his brothers and sister, Jim (Sherry) Yoder of Florida, Phil (Joyce) Yoder of Millersburg, Keith Yoder of Dublin, Gayla (Rick) Coldren of Westerville, Galen Yoder Jr. of Wooster, Amy (Galen) Mast of Dalton and Bob (Polly) Yoder of Shreve and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Yoder.

Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg handled arrangements.
