Lorna J. Johnson, age 68, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, MN. She was born in 1952 to August and Barbara Korlin in Fargo, ND. Lorna attended school in White Bear Lake, MN.
Lorna and James Johnson were united in marriage on December 7, 1968 in St. Paul, MN. Lorna and Jim moved to Grand Rapids, MN in 1980. Lorna worked as the office manager for JJ Trucking Inc of Grand Rapids and retired in 2015.
She enjoyed trail riding and showing her horses and traveled to many different horse shows with them. She loved gardening and working on her hobby farm.
She was preceded in death by her grandsons, James Burnson and Austin Luckwell. The family is also grieving the loss of her mother, Barbara, who passed within moments after Lorna.
Lorna is survived by her husband, Jim; children: Rob (Chandra) Johnson, Laurie (Bryan) Burnson, Thomas (Darla) Johnson; father, August Korlin; sister, Mary Jo (Paul) Johnson; brother, Steve (Joan) Korlin; 15 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Burial was at Wabana Cemetery, Wabana Township, MN.
