Lou E. Hunter was born on May 1, 1933 in Atchison KS the daughter of Russell and Edna L. (Loyd) Hunter. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1951. Lou worked various jobs including waitressing but the majority of her life was spent at a homemaker and housewife. She was married to Harold D. Davis, he preceded her in death on Jan 27, 1992. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and enjoyed cooking and watching her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a son , a daughter , a brother, eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and two great grandchildren preceded her in death.
