He was born on Palm Sunday and baptized on Easter Sunday, March 27, 1921 the following week at St. Francis Church witnessed by his Godparents, Mr. & Mrs. William Boyea, his Uncle Bill & Aunt Eva.

In December 1924, his Pa, an Architect that built many Churches, Schools, Homes and other buildings was working in Stockton, Calif. Pa love roses and saw a fully blooming rose bush on Dec. 15, took a photo and sent the picture post card to Michigan (where winters are hard) and wrote, "Sell everything, bring the kids, we now live in California!" The family moved to California.

His 1st Holy Communion was at age 9 on May 25, 1930 at Holy Rosary Church in San Bernardino, Calif. "in White Surplus which I made for him" - Lou (Durocher) Le Blanc, Mother.

The family moved many times from farm to farm during the depression in search of work for their father and the children old enough to work in the orchards.

His Confirmation was at age 13 in October 1934 at St. Gertrude's Church in Stockton, Calif. His brother Arnold was his Godfather.

He was married to his sweetheart, Irma L. Gillum, on April 19, 1941 in Reno, Nev. where they set up house.

He enlisted in the U.S. ARMY on December 17, 1943 and became a Turret gunner in a B17 with the 486th Bomber Group during WWII. He was in the Pacific Fleet.

After the war, he set up house in Santa Clara, Calif. and had 2 children: Dennis Charles "Denny" LeBlanc & Deborah Sue "Debbie" LeBlanc.

Denny married Brenda J. (Bush) on February 1, 1964 at 1st Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, Calif. They have had 2 boys, Michael Charles LeBlanc & Randall Scott "Randy" LeBlanc. Randy married Yolanda Castro and had 3 children: Kyle Brandan, George, and J. T. LeBlanc. Denny & Brenda divorced in 1971 in California.

Debbie married Rodney C. Nicholson on May 5, 1973 at United Methodist Church in Santa Clara, Calif. They have Kelley Sue and Ryan Clark Nicholson. Ryan married Sara Pinney on May 9, 2003 in San José, CA. They have Bella & Reese Nicholson and all still live in San José, CA. Debbie was divorced and married Mike Tryforos on October 11, 2008 in Los Gatos, CA.

Maynard and Irma settled in Santa Clara in a beautiful home with a white picket fence and beautiful garden. They lived the American Dream. Maynard worked for Woolrich Company that built Highway 17 from Los Gatos to Santa Cruz and many other projects in Santa Clara County.

They loved traveling to Hawai'i and celebrating special occasions with family in California.

On April 19, 1991, the loving couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary

He lived to the great age of 97 years not taking any medication or getting sick throughout his blessed life. He contracted pneumonia and passed from that.

Private family services were held after his cremation.
