Mrs. Mable Eldora Brown Henry was born in Brighton District, St. Elizabeth Jamaica on May 21, 1937 to Etta Mae "Sister" Brown and Ronald Burnett who preceded her in death. Her family and friends affectionately called her "MaMay". She was happily married to Luther Adolphus Henry who preceded her in death for 34 years.

Mable excelled in her educational studies in the primary and secondary schools in Jamaica. She continued her education by attending Church Teachers College formerly known as Mandeville Teachers College, Jamaica where she obtained her Teachers Certification. She began her teaching career at Middle Quarter Primary School and later taught at Clapham All Age School in Brighton her hometown. Against all odds, the country girl from Brighton made something of herself.

Mrs. Henry migrated to the United States in 1970, joining her husband to begin a new chapter in their lives to be able to provide "a better life" for their Children. She quickly found a job at Glades General Hospital, working the graveyard shift as a Nurses Aid. As a consummate educator she later obtained employment with the Palm Beach County School District, working as a Teachers Aid at Belle Glade Elementary. Mable later returned to Nova Southeastern University to further her education and earned a Master of Science degree in Education. She worked for over 33 years for the Palm Beach County School District, Belle Glade Elementary, Lake Shore Middle, the ESOL Program, the Adult Education program teaching night school. Mrs. Henry was loved by her students because they knew she worked tirelessly to make a difference in their lives. She was also member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Mu Rho Omega Chapter.

Mable accepted Christ at an early age and received her Christian training at Holiness Christian Church in Brighton, Jamaica and later worshiped at various Churches in Belle Glade and South Bay, before settling at Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ. After a long illness and courageous battle, Mable answered the Master's call to come home and rest! She transition from her earthly tabernacle to her spiritual home on Saturday, November 14, 2015.

Mable leaves to cherish her memories in life: her loving and devoted Daughters Sandra Henry Atkins, Mitsie Henry Johnson, Nadia Henry Brown, who proceeded her in death and Step-Daughter Yvonne Salmon. Son-in-Law Michael Johnson, Grandchildren; Geno Atkins, Santrell Atkins, Dariel Brown, Megan Watson, Shanell Atkins, Daryl K Brown Jr. (DK), MyKia Johnson, Michael Johnson, Jr., Simone Nembhard-Melvin O'Neal Nembhard, Kenisha Hall and Kenneth Hall, niece Carol "Pam" Beckford-Revels, God- Children and a host of cousins, grand nieces, nephews & sorrowing friends.
