Johnny Farrell Baker, 71 years of age of Raysal, WV, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center. Born December 18, 1948 in McDowell County, WV, he was he son of the late Ora Baker and Anna Pruitt Baker.
Johnny was a United States Air Force Veteran, a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA and United Atwell Church of God. A loving father, grandfather and brother.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Gay Sliger Baker February 23, 2014, sister Linda Carol Click and brother Randy Baker.
Survivors include his daughter Karalla Darlene Reynolds of Roanoke, VA; son Anthony Shawn Baker and wife Heather of Raysal, WV; sister Louise Lyons of Newport News, VA; brothers Ernest Baker of Raysal, WV and Donald Baker of Pounding Mill, VA.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Lindsey (Edgar) Lemon, Emily Reynolds, Kaylee Reynolds, Aidan Baker and Gunner Baker, great-granddaughter Elara Lemon and great grandson Emrys Lemon; special niece Angel Baker of Raysal, WV, son at heart Nick Chambers of Raysal, WV.
Private Graveside service for Johnny Farrell Baker will be held at the Deskins Cemetery on Atwell Mountain in Atwell, WV, Saturday, March 28, 2020 with Reverends Roger Hale, Sr. and Roger Hale, Jr., officiating.
Active pallbearers will be his family and friends.
