HUNT, Marla E. (Johnson) " Of Flint, age 95, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Marla was born in Flint, Michigan on April 26, 1917, the daughter of Aksel and Isadora Johnson. She graduated from the Hurley School of Nursing and became a "Hurley Girly" and served as a past president of Hurley Nurses Association. She was also a private duty nurse and
was later employed as a nurse at Buick Motor Division during the early 40's until becoming a "mom" for her three daughters.
Surviving are brother, Blaine (Pat) Johnson of Arizona;
daughters, Melita (Ralph) Lewis and Lucinda Eddy;
grandchildren, Karl (Karen) Retzloff, Tamara Retzloff, Christopher (Alice) Retzloff, Tim (Rick Yuille) Retzloff, Katrina Brunette, Delmar (Marci Hughes) Eddy, Trisha Eddy, Renae (Leon) Trimble and Ford Eddy;
14 great-grandchildren;
3 great-great-grandchildren.
Marla was preceded in death by her husband, Ford Hunt in 1990 and daughter, Carla (Adrian Cervini) in 2008.
