STRATFORD - Steve Griffith, 58, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Walter Reed, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Stratford Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Steve was born Feb. 19, 1949, in Sayre, Okla., to Jewel and Doris Griffith. He had been a Stratford resident since 1974. He was a 1968 graduate of Dumas High School.
He married Judy Holberg on Feb. 20, 1970, in Dumas. He retired as manager of A & I Parts in Dumas. He was a member of First Christian Church in Stratford.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; a son, Aaron Griffith of Amarillo; his mother, Doris Hise and husband Pete of Rockport; a sister, Susie Musgrove and husband Phillip of Childress; and a brother, Gary Griffith and wife Kay of Corpus Christi.
The family suggests memorials be to Stratford EMS, P.O. Box 106, Stratford, TX 79084.
