Richard E. Jacox Sr., 88, husband of the late Frances (Wassel) Jacox, of Bethlehem, PA, formerly of Elverson, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem, PA. Born in Clarion, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd and Lorinda (Pierce) Jacox.

Mr. Jacox was a Korean War Veteran, stationed in Germany. After his service, he attended Penn State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He was an avid gardener and arborist, and in later years, he was active in his local church.

Mr. Jacox is survived by two children, Barbara J., wife of William Dadio of Bethlehem Twp., PA and Richard E. Jr., husband of Amy Jacox of Phoenixville, PA; four grandchildren, Kevin, Brian, and Megan Dadio and Bethany Jacox; two siblings, Margaret Sanders and Jim, husband of Jenny Jacox. Mr. Jacox was preceded in death by one sister, Ruthann Jacox.

A private service will take place for the immediate family.
