Mary Elizabeth Cox Trivett, 90, of Indian Trail, NC passed away March 15, 2020 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte, NC. Born in Wilco, WV she was the daughter of the late Rev. Andrew Jackson and Emma Presley Cox.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband J. D. Trivett; son Barry Stephen Trivett; daughter Kathy Mixon; brothers, Carson, Renick, Titus, Orville, Paul and Charles Cox; sisters, Lucille Cordle, Mava Jean, Edith, Ruth White and Geneva Cox.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jimmy Dale Trivett and wife Shirley of Oakboro, NC, son in law John Mixon of Indian Trail, NC and Jennifer Yandle and husband Adam of Indian Trail, NC; grandchildren Courtney and Dalton Yandle, Ashley and husband Kenny Nelson, Shelly Trivett, Brandon and Mark Trivett and Jason McBride; great grandchildren Trevor and wife Katherine, Hana Nelson, Dylan Nelson and fiance Courtney Mabe, Keegan and Kayleigh McBride; great great grandchild Ava Grace Nelson. Also, her brother Robert Cox and wife Pat and her sister Gladys O' Brien.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 24, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Rodriguez Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Church of God Cemetery in Abbs Valley, VA.
