His last job was working at Praxair. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan. Danny was a motor head. He loved everything about cars and car engines. He had a heart for what was good. He was saved and was a Christian by faith. He especially enjoyed time with his family. He will be forever remembered by his wife, Sarah Duffield Vaughan; sons, Danny Brent Vaughan and wife, Nina, of Flatwoods, WV; and Dennis Michael Vaughan and wife, Anita, of Woodruff, SC; daughters, Jan Lynn Vaughan of Belpre, Ohio, Brenda Lee Vaughan of Exchange, WV; and Shannon Marie Nelson and husband, Rick, of Pennsboro, WV; brothers, Arden Vaughan and wife, Rhonda, of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Raleigh Vaughan and wife, Linda, of Hyattsville, Maryland; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; grand puppy, Eugene; and his own fur baby, his ice cream partner, Charlie. Funeral service will be 1 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2020 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Butch Rexroad officiating. Interment will be in the Elmira Cemetery.
