John Regan, barber of McComb, but formerly of Magnolia, was stricken with a heart attack while milking a cow on his place two miles northwest of Fernwood Sunday, and died Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock. He was one of the most widely known men in his profession. Mr. Regan was 46 years old and had been in the barber trade for 25 years.
Funeral services were held at the residence of his mother, near his home, and interment was in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb. Services were conducted Thursday morning, Nov. 17, at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. E. L. Ledbetter, pastor of the La Branch Street Methodist Church.
Surviving are his second wife, seven children, several brothers and sisters, and his mother.
Crittenden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
