Viola Bridges Key, 78, of New Hope, died Monday at Huntsville Hospital.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, James Bridges and Veda Morrison Bridges; husband, Ollie L. Key; sister, Vergie Hill; and brothers, William R. Bridges, James E. Bridges and J. B. Bridges.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Phillips and husband, Henry, of New Hope, Judy Powell and husband, Robert, of Huntsville, and Ann Sublett and husband, Michael, of Gurley; one stepson, Kenneth Key and wife, Debra, of Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Davis of Huntsville.
Arrangements are being handled by New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 9, 2007. Interment will be at Hayden Cemetery.
