Mrs. Sarah Phillips, 74, passed away Monday, August 6, 2007, at her home in Raymond. Visitation will be 5-8pm today at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be at 10:00am Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Phillips was born June 11, 1933 in Jackson to James and Murial Taylor. She was self-employed as a Sitter for patients and was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Phil Phillips.
Survivors include: her sons, Alex D. Stanford, Jr., Tommy Stanford, Roger Taylor, Rusty Phillips and Mark Stanford; daughter, Dianne Morrison; brother, Bill Taylor; sister, Dorothy Parker; eleven grandchildren.
