Doug was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Stephens, grandparents, several uncles and cousins.
Doug is survived by his mother, Lois A. Stephens of Bloomington, sister, DeAnna K. Stephens, niece Arija Dawsey, nephew Kenton Johnson; great niece Aaliyah Bullock and great nephew Brandon Boddie all of Indianapolis, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a 1977 graduate of Bloomington High School South, he enjoyed watching Nascar and fishing. Doug was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
A private grave side service will be conducted.
