A graveside service for Mann Brister will be held at 10:00a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020 at Elysian Fields Cemetery. Bro. Steve Jackson will be officiating the service.

John Franklin Brister, known as” Mann” Brister of DeBerry, Texas was born on July 19, 1951 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to his parents, Wanel Brister and Lucille Antley. Mr. Brister passed away on March 22, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was of the Methodist Faith. Mann served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Once he got out of the Army, he worked as an Electrician.

Mr. Brister is survived by his father, Wanel Brister and wife, Mary; Brother, Danny P. Brister and wife, Shirley; sister, Diane Beal.

Mr. Brister is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Antley Tanner.
