Robert Follet was one of the original "Nine Partners" who were the first white settlers in 1790 in Susquehanna County, PA. He married Lucy Wilmarth on 3/25/1790 and they had six children - Lucy (b-8/29/1791 in Attleboro, MA); Lewis (b-9/17/1794 in Harford, PA); Lyman (b-1798 in Harford); Mary (b-1800 in Harford); Elizabeth (b-1802 in Harford); and Walter (b-5/31/1805 in Harford). Some records show that he also had another son, Robert, Jr. He died by suicide from a bullet in the head.
