Ms. Lori Ann Ross, of Waterbury, CT, born October 4, 1961 in New Haven, CT to the late Bishop W. Eugene Ross and Ruth Williams Ross. Thursday March 12, 2020, she suddenly departed this life after a brief illness to await the return of our Lord and Savior. Lori was educated in New Haven schools, last attending Troop Middle School and Wilbur Cross High School. She resided in New Haven and West Haven prior to moving to Waterbury.
Lori loved to walk. Many people would often recognize and remember Lori because she always walked and stopped to carry on conversations with whomever she encountered. She loved music especially gospel. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Ornell Cowes Jr., Eric Ross, April Ross and Aaron Ross (Jessica) of CT; 9 grandchildren, siblings: Patricia Wilkerson (Bill) (TN), Patricia Franklin (VA), Ricky Williams, Bishop Gary Ross, Sr. (Shirley), Mychael Ross (Irma), Karen Speight (William) of CT, fiancé Kevin Long and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends residing in Connecticut, Florida, Ohio and North Carolina. Lori was predeceased by two brothers William Ross (VA) and Ronald Ross (NJ). The Howard K. Hill Funeral Home, New Haven, CT., is in charge of arrangements.
