Scott James Nelson, 61, died on Monday, March 23, 2020, in Roanoke, Texas. He was born October 4, 1958 in Watertown, South Dakota to Claude James Nelson and Anita Jean Nelson. After living all around the United States, he moved to Texas with his family in 2003, and worked as a senior vice president for Chase Paymentech. He was survived by his son, Benjamin Claude Nelson of Grapevine, Texas; daughter, Jenna Rose Nelson of Washington, D.C.; mother, Anita Jean Nelson of Boca Raton, Florida; brother, Gregg Nelson of Herndon, Virginia; sister, Claudia Dunne of Boca Raton, and his beloved nieces and nephews. The family was planning to have a celebration of his life this summer in Roanoke.
