Mabel Louise Warren Thompson, 97, of Dublin died peacefully at her home on Sunday evening, March 22, 2020. Mrs. Thompson was born in Boyle, Mississippi on January 13, 1923. She served in the U. S. Coast Guard during World War II and was stationed in West Palm Beach and New Orleans. She has been a resident of the Buckeye community since 1954. Mrs. Thompson retired from the V. A. Hospital in 1986 where she worked in Medical Records.

She was married to the late Raleigh N. Thompson for 52 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Dora Warren of Belton, TX, her brother, McClain Warren, Belton TX and her sister, Irene Woods of Hamburg, NY.

She is survived by a son, Robert (Ronnie) Thompson (Beth) of Fayetteville, NC and daughters Suzanne Hinton (Sam) Dacula, GA and Lisa McCoy (Danny) of Folkston, GA. Mrs. Thompson had 9 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 2:00 PM at Northview Cemetery, Dublin. The family requests your prayers and calls, but at this time, no visitation due to the current virus outbreak.
