She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sadie Woodard and her aunt, Stella Hughes.
She is survived by her husband, David Buckner; son, Darrell Woodard; daughter, LaFontenay “Nicky” Woodard; mother, Jerry Woodard Irvin; sister, Celestine Dixon who cared for her; granddaughters, Symphany, Symone and Laila Woodard, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation: 11am-12pm Thursday, March 26, 2020 at A.D. Porter & Sons Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd., with funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Burial: Green Meadows Cemetery.
