Survivors include her two sons, Brian (Sherry) of Indianapolis and Brett (Connie) of Kingwood, TX; three granddaughters, Katie of Kingwood, TX, Blair (David) Hench of Ohio and Leah of Indianapolis; one great-grandson, Arthur of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Frieda Neal (Lloyd) of Greenwood, IN; six nieces and nephews, all of whom she was extremely proud.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Leland of 54 years, sister-in-law, Norma Neal (Bob).
Rosalie first attended St. Marks Catholic School and graduated from Sacred Heart in 1960. She then married her high school sweetheart, Leland in 1962. She was a long time member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
First and foremost, Rosalie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She showed compassion for others thru many years of volunteer work such as: member of St. Barnabas funeral meal committee; chairman of Bucks for Books campaign to build a new library branch.
She adored spending time with family, friends, and her beloved beagles. She had a gift for decorating with Christmas being her favorite holiday. Her hobbies included collecting antique and modern dolls such as Madame Alexander, as well as collecting Boyds Bears and cherubs.
Due to the current circumstances associated with the coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public services scheduled at this time. A memorial mass will be conducted at a later time and date to be announced.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Hearth at Stones Crossing for the care and compassion they provided.
