Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Hodgson Funeral Home for Dewey L. Blackman, 64, formerly of 3237 25th St., Rock Island, who died Friday night in a Quad-City hospital.
Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Born in Moline, he married Emelie Riecke April 8, 1922 in Davenport. He had lived in rock Island 23 years and was employed for 22 years at Rock Island Arsenal.
He was a member of rock Island lodge 658, AF & AM, and Rock Island Council 18, Royal Arch Masons.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert T. Elliott, Rock Island, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. His parents, wife, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
