RURAL HALL, NC ~ Bobby Gray Westmoreland, 69, was at home with his family when he went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lillie of the home; his son, Timothy Gray, and wife Michele of Rural Hall; an aunt, Thelma Alderman of Rural Hall; several in-laws: Sadie Southern, Doug, and Ann Dalton, Danny and Jane Smith, David Smith, Keith and Tammy Dezarn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bobby was a loving husband, father, and friend and will be missed by all.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in Jefferson Church of Christ Cemetery, with the Rev. Danny Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening, March 21, at Slate Funeral Home in King.
The family would like to send a special thank you for the care that Hospice and Palliative Care of Walnut Cove gave Bobby.
