She was born August 27, 1950 at Elkins, a daughter of the late Ralph Bernard and Donis Louk Howell. On June 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to Henry Lewis Harris, who survives at their home in Belington.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, William Harris of Huntington and Brian Lewis Harris of Belington; two daughters, Ginger Thorne of Belington and Angel Huffman and husband David of Coalton. Surviving siblings are two brothers, Dale Howell and wife Margaret of Moorefield, WV and Ralph “Dick” Howell and wife Sharon of Elkins.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Macara Lea Harris, Hunter Zane Harris, Jacob Lewis Isner, Kelsey Dakota Swick, Contrara Lea Huffman Harlan, and John Lewis Huffman; two great-grandchildren, Casey Harlen and McKenna Isner. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews and her brothers and sisters-in-law and a whole host of friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Neva Marie Howell Everson, one brother, William Howell, and one grandchild, Randall Tyson Isner.
Bonnieattended the schools of Randolph County and was a part time employee of Hometown Care in Belington. She had formerly worked as a waitress at Barb’s Restaurant and Laurel Mt. Inn, both in Belington. She was a member of the Laurel Mt. Post #410 Ladies Auxiliary in Belington and was a Protestant by faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a private family visitation at Talbott Funeral Home 56 N Brandenburg Street in Belington on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 from 6-9 pm. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm from the Stringtown Cemetery near Belington for those who wish to attend with the Rev. Destry Daniels officiating.
