Rosina was born and raised in Tottenham England. She came to America about 1920. She came into Canada then across to Vancouver and south to Tacoma. There she married her husband Louis Jackson. Her brother had come to America and may have helped her get here. While still in England she married Frederick Harrison. They had a child, little Frederick who sadly died at 6 weeks old. The father served and died in World War I. It is thought she came to America to leave her grief of losses in England.
She had three children. They lived in the Tacoma area. At the age of 39 she was diagnosed with colon cancer and died from that leaving her teenagers without a mother. They were a poor family and she was buried in the pauper area of the Mountain View Cemetery. It has since been incorporated into the regular cemetery. Her children bought her a grave stone as for many years she only had a marker. Her son, Al, and Daughter, Margaret's ashes are buried over her grave. Her daughter Frances is buried in Puyallup.
