Jody Clemo Foster, age 82 of Glen Allen, Missouri passed away March 19, 2020 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born on April 18, 1937 to the late Silvy and Clara Mae Foster of Glen Allen, MO.

Clemo and Edith Green of Patton, Missouri were united in marriage on May 17, 1961 and to this union four children were born.

Clemo Started working at Baldwin Electric, Pallet Mills, Superior Electric and then Heuer’s Implement in Cape Girardeau, Missouri retiring after 26 ½ years. A Mechanic that could fix anything that was placed in front of him. Clemo never met a stranger, was a man of faith, a hard worker and believed in helping others regardless of the circumstances. He was one of the founding members of White Oak Baptist Church of Glen Allen, Missouri and active in the church as a song leader, maintaining the church and the grounds. He endeared others through his teasing, practical jokes and his sense of humor and always had a story for you and a smile. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Clemo is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years; two daughters Phyllis (Larry) Ragsdale of Marble Hill, Missouri, Lisa (Michael) Walter of Jackson, Missouri; two sons Leonard Foster of Glen Allen, Missouri, Richard (Angela) Foster of Fredericktown, Missouri; 8 grandchildren Danielle (Matt) Torbet of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Joshua (Jessica) Liley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Adam (Nicole) Liley of Marble Hill, Missouri, Shane (Kerri) Walter of Jackson, Missouri, Curtis Walter of Jackson, Missouri, Zachary Walter of San Diego, California, Bradley Davis of Fredericktown, Missouri, Dylan Steele of Farmington, Missouri; 9 great-grandchildren Alivia, Liam and Ryan Liley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Bella and Bentley Liley of Marble Hill, Missouri, Brody and Blaine Torbet of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Fletcher Davis and Xavier Brady of Grand Haven, Michigan. One brother Jess (Erma) Foster of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three sisters Bonnie Schuchman of St. Louis, Missouri, Faye (Charles) Mock of Dexter, Missouri, Glenda (Steve) Baker of Marble Hill, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers James Foster, David Foster, and Jack Foster all of Glen Allen, Missouri; and one brother in-law Johnnie Fergie of Marquand, Missouri.

A Private Visitation for family only will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri due to the health precautions.

Visitation to the public will be held 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery Pavilion. Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Gerald Huff, Bro. Ray Meek, and Bro. Marvin Wormington officiating. Entombment will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
