Mrs. Georgia Wright
FRUITLAND --- Mrs. Georgia (Bummy) Wright, 47, of Fruitland, died Tuesday in the Queens General Hospital in Queen Village, N.Y., after a short illness.
Born in Fruitland, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Georgia Jones Dashiell. She was a lifelong member of the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church here, a former member of the adult choir, the Valid Charity Club and the gospel chorus of the community.
She was an employe of the Campbell Soup Company for over 26 years. Surviving are two children, Mrs. Carolyn W. Matthews and Randolph Wright Jr. of Queen Village, N.Y.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Mae Birckhead of Salisbury and Mrs. Harriett Townsend of Baltimore; two brothers, Harley and Harold Dashiell, both of Fruitland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, Fruitland. The Rev. William T. Wallace, pastor, will officiate. Assisting will be the Rev. Samuel E. Parker.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Jolley Funeral Home Friday from 3:30 to 9 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
