Kintz, Gladys Aug. 25, 1933 - May 6, 2000 Gladys Strasser Kintz, 66, of Placentia, Calif., passed away on Saturday, May 6, from injuries suffered in a car accident. Gladys was born in South Bend, Ind. She married Thomas Kintz on Dec. 27, 1952, at Notre Dame. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Joseph of Oregon; two daughters, Karla Hull of Reno, Nev., and Laurie Fowler of California; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Paul B. and E. Wayne of South Bend, and H. Frank of Bend, Ore.; and by four sisters, Thelma Greenwood, Maxine Brown and Ruth Whitesell, all of South Bend, and Mary Papczynski of Port Clinton, Ohio. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, in the Northway Church of Christ, 19525 Auten Road, South Bend. Burial services were held on Friday, May 12, in California. Contributions in memory of Gladys may be made to the Diabetes association.
