Richard Clement, Sr., 73, of Dover, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, at his home. He was born October 17, 1946, in Missouri, son of the late C.T. and Lona Poore Clement. He was the longtime Chief of Police at Pottsville, a truck driver with Woodline Motor Freight, and served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Gene and Gary; and 4 sisters, Stella, Gwen, Jimmie and Millie.

He is survived by his son, Richard Clement, Jr. and wife Jennifer; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Alysha, Angel, and Christian; sister-in-law, Doris Clement; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial service was held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 21, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Don Wilkinson and Bro. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial with military honors by VFW Rogers Rye Post #2283 and the Arkansas Patriot Guard was held in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
