Pamela Sue "Susie" Thomsen was the daughter of the late Billie E. and Earlene (Matthews) Gragg and was born on 23 February 1952 in Detroit, Michigan and departed this earthly life on 21 March 2020 in Algood, Putnam County, Tennessee, after an extended illness.

Prior to retiring in Cookeville, she was a Medical Billing Clerk for many years with St. John Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and was the owner/operator of P&A Video in Michigan. She Attended Wilhite Baptist Church in Cookeville, Tennessee.

At the time of her death she was survived by daughter Laura Ann Lakey Harris of Cookeville, stepchildren Catherine (Eric) Knight and Jeff Thomsen, all of Michigan, grandchildren Alex Pass, Samantha and Megan Harris, Ashlyn Thomsen, Ethan and Collin Knight, sister Mary Ann Norrod of Cookeville, brothers William “Bill” and wife Tommie Gragg of Cookeville, and Dan and wife Beth Gragg of Monterey, Tennessee. Two special aunts, Lena Mae Norrod of Cookeville and Treva Joyce Wilson, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Several precious nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband Joe David Lakey, who passed away on 13 May 1993 and second husband Andreas C. "Andy" Thomsen, who passed away on 24 June 2011, brother David Gragg, brother-in-law Maurice Norrod, niece Elizabeth Ann Norrod, paternal grandparents Roscoe Gragg and Willowdean (Barnett) Gragg Blanton, maternal grandparents Samuel Wolford and Lasby Ann Matthews.

Susie will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she will be remembered for her unconditional love and loyalty to all her family.

Graveside Funeral Services conducted on Thursday, 26 March 2020 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Miles of Wilhite Baptist Church officiating.
