Mr. Bud Green, age 75, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Tranquility Hopsice in Austell, Georgia.
Mr. Green was born December 9, 1944 in Cedartown, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Varnell (Vesta Lively) Green. He has been married to Joan Ellison Green for 41 years. He was owner/operator of Bud Green Trucking. He and his wife, Joan, owned and operated Joan's Family Restaurant in Dallas, Georgia for many years.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence (Vesta Lively) Green; Sisters, Mrs. Sonja Goodwin and Mrs. Glenda Yancey.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Joan Ellison Green; Brother, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Valerie) Green; Sister in Law, Mrs. Imogene Ellison; Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Jamie Wright, Mark Price, Wesley Price, Kirk Price, Bruce Blan and Jimmy Masters.
Private Graveside Services for Mr. Bud Green will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020, 11:00 A.M. at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park. Dr. Curtis Turner will officiate. Only immediate family at graveside. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2020, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
