Wednesday, July 28th, 1937 - Thursday, March 19th, 2020 Henry G. Stewart, age 82 of Richmond, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Henry was born in Red Lick, Kentucky to the late Noil and Alta Susan Whittemore Stewart. He was a retired self-employed mechanic.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years, Louzena Mays Stewart; his daughter, Alice Johanna “Jody” Stewart; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Stewart; and his siblings, Helen Murphy, Vernon Stewart, Moss Stewart, Elizabeth Webb, Noil Stewart, Jr., and Rosella Harris.
In light of the current health and safety risks involved, the Stewart family has requested that all visitation and funeral services be private. Pastor Mark Sarver will be officiating the funeral services and the burial will follow in Berea Cemetery.
Honorary bearers will be Bill Jones, Wayne Winkler, Tony Thompson, Jim Buscher, Eli Campbell, Tim Abner, Todd Miracle and Lizzie Webb.
