Virgil Lewis, age 58 passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on August 31, 1961 in Tulare, CA.
Virgil was a veteran of the US Army. He was a very patriotic person and collected Eagles and Flags.
Virgil enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Virgil was a Christian and was affiliated with Pentecostal Holiness. He was a lifetime resident of Idabel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Altus Lewis; brothers, Darnell Lewis and Wayne Brown; and a sister, Eva Hanson.
Virgil is survived by his mother, Wanda Lewis of Idabel, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Caran Brown of Idabel; a sister, Wanda Burke of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be private.

*Virgil was a very nice man. I first met him when I worked at Save-A-Lot in Idabel, Oklahoma. He will be missed but never forgotten.
