Eva G. King, 71, Amboy, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru.
She was born on July 24, 1934 in Miami County to Earl and Myrtle Mogle Durkes. She married William E King on May 11, 1952, and he survives.
King attended Amboy United Methodist Church. She was a 1952 graduate of Butler Township High School and a past member of the Amboy Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors other than he husband include a daughter, Christine Griggs and her husband Don. Mt. Summit; three sons, Alan King, Peru, William K King, Amboy, and John King, Amboy; six grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Samantha, Michael, Sara and Norie Ann; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Leah; and two sisters, Marion Lees and husband Bob, High Point, N.., and Betty Faust, Ludlow, Ill.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home with Pastor Jim McDowell officiating.
Friends may call from noon to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
