Gregory Lawrence Koch, 61, died the 8th of July, 2019 in Rio Rancho, NM. He passed peacefully in his sleep. A celebration of will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, July 11th at Star Heights Recreation Center – 800 Polaris Blvd, Rio Rancho.



Greg was born on January 16th, 1958 in Buffalo, NY to Roy and Ida Koch. He earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Canisius College. Greg was self-employed for 30+ years as the owner of GLK Insurance. He met his loving wife of 36 years, Rosemary while playing trumpet in the Bergholz German band, which he did for many years. Greg was an avid reader of current events around the world. He was a big sports fan, especially of teams in Buffalo, New York including the Buffalo Bills NFL team. He was a proud member of the Albuquerque Bill Backers.



Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Roy James Koch & Ida Jean (Mule) Koch.



He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Deibel); his sons, Gregory L. Koch II, Christopher M. Koch-Hill and his spouse Clark Koch-Hill; sister, Kathy Norwalk and her spouse John Norwalk; brother, Ronald Koch and his spouse Benita Koch; and his 3 dogs, Oscar, Max & Molly.
