Lee was the son of Bennie Lee Mainor and Mamie Hamilton. He was educated in the Crisp County School System and was a graduate of Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia. He enjoyed attending Churches throughout the community. He was an avid football fan and loved watching "his" San Francisco 49ers and telling jokes.
He was preceded in death by his mother on June 10, 2007.
