Clifford Alan White, of Pembroke

Clifford Alan White, of Pembroke, passed peacefully, Friday, November 2, after his second courageous battle with bladder cancer, at the age of 59.

Cliff was born March 16, 1959, to the late Betty Fulton and Harper Winfield White. He grew up in Pembroke, graduating from Silver Lake High School. He was a long-standing member of the 27th Lancers and the Imperials Drum and Bugle Corps. He graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music. His musical talents ranged from playing with symphony to his band, the Bourbon Street Jazz Band. He was admired for his talent with all musical instruments but highlighted for his playing the Contra Bass.

Cliff moved to Carver in the 1980s, where he began his lifelong career in building and construction and raising two children. They moved to Plymouth, where his love of all sports lead him to volunteering and coaching youth sports. Youth hockey was his passion. Cliff loved the outdoors and was often seen exploring with his faithful companion, Buddy Francis. He later moved to Marshfield and back to Pembroke.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated children, Matthew Randall White, Nichole Elizabeth White and their mother, Kathy Lee Randall, all from Plymouth. He leaves his two brothers, Douglas White and Bradford White; his 4 stepsisters, Leta Mantia, Lynne Miller, Lucy Fulton Hammond and Lora Fulton; and his many loved nieces and nephews. He leaves his longtime companion, Cheryl Spencer and family of Marshfield. He also leaves behind many treasured longtime friends and business associates.
