A daughter of the late Dwight and Nona Zoellers Morehead, Carolyn was born in Wellsville on December 13, 1925.
She was a very active and involved member of the Chester First United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of the Methodist Women. Carolyn was a graduate of Wellsville High School and she retired as a legal secretary from the James Jordan Law Office in Chester.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hutton, and her brothers, Richard, Robert, Earl, and Ralph Morehead.
Surviving is her daughter, Cindy McCall and her husband Kenny of Newell, her step-son, Larry Hutton and his wife Alicia of Florida; her grandchildren, Eric (Sara) Nonamaker, Susan (Michael) Byers, and Leh (Kathleen) Hutton; and her great-grandchildren, Madison, Franklin, Hazel, John, Lauren, and Eliza.
Visitation will be at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Sunday, March 22, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Private services will be held at the Chester First United Methodist Church on Monday. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Frank at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester. A public memorial service will be held at the church at a yet to be determined date and time.
